How to lay “japanese stepping stones”

To create a path pattern arranging the slabs in the “Japanese stepping stone” style, you need to calculate the number of steps needed to complete the path, then space the slabs at an equal distance along the route. To ensure perfect stability, dig down 5-8 cm (2”-3”), add fine gravel - size 3 to 6 mm (1/8” to 1/4”), and compact down before laying the slab. The slabs must not protrude above the lawn level, in order not to damage the lawnmower when cutting the grass.
